Rajiv Chowk Metro Station

The Delhi Metro Station at Rajiv Chowk lies on the Blue and Yellow Lines. It is a station meant for shifting between the Blue Line on the above side and the Yellow Line on the bottom side of the   station. This station is considered to be one of the very busy stations on the railway network, catering to the entire Connaught Place area in the heart of Delhi. Around 5 lakh passengers commute through this route every day.

We find many of the businesses and important buildings, restaurants and cinemas located outside the station. The Nirula's store inside the station is also present. Two Cafe Coffee Day restaurants are present on both sides of the station and they open at 5:30 in the morning. Older citizens of Delhi commonly refer to this station as CP. There is a beautiful central park on the above portion of the station.
The station holds the name after Rajiv Gandhi.
